While I haven't actually called CA except in the case of some stickers which
I was missing, CA will also replace broken or damaged parts from sets you
already own (and even from sets you've bought used). Given this, I would
feel no bad conscience in calling them, describing the situation, and
letting them tell you what they're going to do.

| (...) Consumer Affairs will ask you if it was clearanced. Just be frank with them, and if they want to charge you then you can decide if it is worth it. Customer satisfaction is usually more important to them than assigning blame for the missing (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
