Shop at Home Shipping Rates —Justin Pankey
Now that the free shipping is over at LSAH, I find myself again very distressed about their shipping rates. Remember when we could buy all we wanted for a flat maximum rate...I think it was like $10 or $15? This new 5% of the order total prevents me (...)         Re: Shop at Home Shipping Rates —Elroy Davis
(...) It depends on what you compare it to. Even at 5% of my total order, it's generally cheaper for me than if I had to drive to the "local" LEGO brand store (3 hours in one direction), or the "local" Toys R Us (2 hours). After a few tanks of fuel, (...) (18 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Shop at Home Shipping Rates —Steve Demlow
(...) For some of us the rate change was a double whammy: they also began charging sales tax in states with corporate Lego stores. Shipping vs. sales tax used to be something of a wash, but now they are both there. It makes me more inclined to buy (...) (18 years ago, 13-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Shop at Home Shipping Rates —Jordan Schwarz
(...) I was greatly disappointed when I recently stopped by my local Toys 'R' Us and discovered their prices on LEGO sets. Some sets were at retail; certainly none were below, and a good many were above, some by as much as 40%. Examples: Big Gray (...) (18 years ago, 13-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)
