Because they have a VERY large # of them. Bryan K's post is probably
spot on. TLG never has seemed to have a clue about windows/doors - when
have you EVER seen a door/window pack that had a proper ratio of doors
to windows?
I guess in LegoWorld, every house has a door for every window ;-)
Odds are, they cast the doors with their normal 1:1-1:2 ratio with the
windows, thinking "everyone MUST need more doors than they can ever
use", and now, surprisingly enough, they find they have <gasp!> more
doors laying around than expected.
Now, if those door packs were in white, brown, and black, I'd probably
buy a few for buildings. But I don't build much in blue. And if they
made a solid train door, no window opening, and sold it in brown, white,
grey, and black, I'd probably buy quite a few for internal/external
doors on buildings. But I don't know of too many houses with windows in
their internal doors ;-)

| <<snipp>> (...) Here at work (office) a lot of internal doors have windows, I think so you don't smack them up in people's faces. Kind of boring if you ask me :) Best regards, /Tobbe (URL) SPAM when e-mailing) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)
