Henry Milissa and I checked almost every station between Charleston, SC and Washington DC on our way to and from Brickfest 2001. I have no actual info on this other than my observations at stations around here, but it seems to be up to the individual stations if they want to carry the larger sets. I believe they are required to carry the small sets, but that the larger sets (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I travelled from Atlanta, Georgia to Columbus, Ohio the July 4th weekend and stopped at every other Shell station I saw (I figured I wouldn't find them until I got farther north, hence the every other one (...) I was wondering about the Shell promo sets numbered 1252-1256. Are they available currently, or did I miss out on them? They must be clearing out inventory for the new sets. We are having the same clearance sales and more All Artic sets Aquazone ( don't ask me where they found them, I thought they were sold out two years ago.) StarWars sets including Millenium (...) Ditto! I could really use 1-2 of these (HECK, I could use 5 at that price, 5 of them compacted into one box!), and can never find them on sale locally. Subject pretty much says it all. Was at my local Big Lots (Garfield Heights, OH) and they had Town Folks for $2.99. They HAD 4 copies. I was just searching for 'pirate' and 'castle' on shop.lego.com and I noticed that they have most of the old service packs listed.
