Re: DDK $19.99 after rebate at Comp USA

(...) Thanks for the tip! I picked up the last one at my local CompUSA. The package appears to have already been opened, although the polybags are still sealed. Could someone who recently opened one tell me how many bags there are supposed to be? (...) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Creator is here!

(...) Just a followup on my earlier post. I received the new Zany Brainy flyer in the mail today. While the two Creator sets are listed inside, they are not on sale as the ZB employee had indicated. :( However, there are two older sets that are on (...)   Re: US S@H Specials, Mar 27 - Apr 3, 2001

(...) I just got my two this weekend, and they were from Japan ( I think, lots' of strange, Asian type writing on the internal ad sheet. Why didn't I come out of my dark ages in 1996?). Perhaps Pirates did not sell well in Japan, maybe due to a lack (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

DDK $19.99 after rebate at Comp USA

This week's Comp USA flyer features Mindstorms 9748 Droid Developer Kit for $29.99 plus another $10 off mail-in rebate (one per customer while supplies last). When I was there last week they also had the free demo CD for LEGO Island 2: The (...) (24 years ago, 1-Apr-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: US S@H Specials, Mar 27 - Apr 3, 2001

Keep in mind they have very large warehouses, my guess is they just found them out of place somewhere. I believe that's where the Fort Legoredos came from earlier this year. John (...) (24 years ago, 31-Mar-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

In lugnet.announce.lsahs, Tom Stangl writes: {really big snip} How is it that they kept Pirate sets in storage for nearly half a decade, to only now release them? This is completely unexpected to me. Was it just that no one bought them? Could they (...) (24 years ago, 31-Mar-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Sales at The Store! March 29, 2001

(...) Actually, LEGO's The Imagination Center in the Mall of America is most appropriately "THE Store", all the others are johnny-come-latelys. Steve (24 years ago, 30-Mar-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Check out this deal at KB

(...) I wonder how many people ordered it and actually got suckered into paying that price. Might be a nice test of market gullibleness. KB-Kids: "Any price you can charge, we charge higher. The link does work, but due to line-wrapping in the message, it doesn't all get picked up by your browser -- you need to copy both lines inot the location bar.   Re: Goin' to LEGOLAND, CA. Know any sales/deals?

Re: Question about open sets at Toys R Us
