  Re: AFOLs as cheapskates

(...) I hear you. I just usually don't buy like that. I'm not a SW fan at all, so while I can look at the SW sets (some of them) and recognize that they work better as models than a lot of other sets Lego releases, I still don't buy them thinking "I (...) I was just over to my local K-mart and they had put out 5 or 6 each of the 10 small Throwbots, so I got one went to the checkout and instead of 6 dollars it scanned for 50 cents!!, yep that's $.50, HALF a buck!!. (...) This week via proxy, Shell set 1254 x 4. (...) Of course! I might be willing to buy some smaller or reasonably priced (a dime a brick or less) sets at full price, but if I want more than one of the set I will try to wait for at least a BOGO (...)   Re: AFOLs as cheapskates

(...) Yes... Yes you are... ;-). Just kidding of course although in the last year I have become extremely stingy. I think thats for a number of reasons. 1. Since the baby came I just don't shop very much any more. 2. Since the baby came my building (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: AFOLs as cheapskates

(...) Not at all. When the new sets for the year come out, I tend to buy them at full price.
