I took my monthly journey to the Lego Outlet in Dawsonville. Linda the manager and her assistant manager (who's name has slipped my mind) were, as always, super kind and excited about AFOL's. Is anyone else here a little miffed at the lack of items on special here recently. It's been pretty lame, the selection and quantity is usually much better, last year we were gobbling up ninja and adventurere sets at half off, now we get "loading (...) Hey Everyone, I went to Target (Greatland) in Thousand Oaks, CA (Newbury Park?) today and picked up three 8735 Technic Motor Kit (with gear-reduction motor) for US$18.75 each (normally US$39.95) on their toy clearance aisle. I'm fairly certian it's the type that are sold at LEGOLAND. They are made from a durable foam that's survived my 3 boys beating each other for months now. They are actually quite well made - given you can't kill someone with it. They should have the (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)
