(...) Why are these prices so good? It my local ZB the 4565 (pretax) is $100ish and the 8480 is $75ish. They also had a sign up saying 20% off any one LEGO set but they wouldn't apply that to the sale prices. (Even though neither the sale ad nor the (...) (...) Yes, I've noticed a lot of sales. I would think this is a good sign, since they are still stocking the shelves with new sets. The sale is not just on the older sets. To All, I stopped by the Meijer on Hill Road in Flint Michigan on the way back to Ann Arbor, m friend who works there said they had the 2000 sets in. My local Zany Brainy had nine 4565 Trains and around 15-20 8480 Shuttles left yesterday. Wish I could afford to buy them all, but my wife already grimaced when I brought home two loads of shopping bags. Prices (tax already factored in): 4565: $85.27 (...) I just came back from two Shopko's in Idaho and they had the sets on sale (45-50% off). One store still had the old clearance prices (20% off) marked on the labels, But they did ring up at the better price. I found that ALL 1998 Adventurer's sets, (...) I was in Shopko in Lincoln, Nebraska tonight, and they have quite a few items on clearance. Sonic Cycle normally $7.99 for $4.49 (TRU sells these for $9.99) Pharaoh Forbidden Ruins $43.00 (TRU still have them for $40?) Small Ninja sets normally (...)
