  Re: Target clearances begin

(...) Hey, Does anyone know if they will go to the 75% off level, and, if so, after how long? I've checked out my local Target and there are some things that I'd probably not pay $25 for, but, heck, I'd by Clickits* if they got slashed as low as (...) The Mini-MTT (4491) hit 50% off at one store, so I bought a pile. I was surprised to discover a 4490 inside one of them! This is like opening up an oyster to find a slightly unexpected pearl. Though they are more like clams. -Erik (19 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) I think most Walmarts will carry these. I got all 16 from the Walmart near me for $0.97 each but they were not in their system yet. The cashier had to manually enter them. (19 years ago, 15-Jul-05, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.castle)

(...) That's what it says, but at my local wal-mart they insisted that it should be $3.96. I told them it said .97 but they said that was for different bag (racers). (19 years ago, 14-Jul-05, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.castle)

(...) This is a regular catalog ? When does this offer expire ? Any other kits that have such a nice discount ? Man, and I thought 369$ was a good price ! Now I will have to cancel my first order and make a new one. Thanks for tip. (19 years ago, 9-Jul-05, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Excessive exchange rate between US and Canada

The CAD prices vs USD, range from 1.25 to 1.55 I think. The biggest star wars set is 140 CAD, 90 USD, which is 1.55 which is TOTALLY NUTS!!! But yes some items are very close to exchange which is a good sign, like the Death star 400 CAD vs 300 USD. (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jul-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Excessive exchange rate between US and Canada

(...) It is strange. A S@H order used to mean paying US$ with a credit card and getting whatever exhange rate VISA used for that day. I'm not sure where you are getting the 40% rate from though.   Re: Blue Baseplate 627

But the wild thing is if you order blue baseplates, they do not come shrink wrapped or anything like that, just a bunch of blue base plates rattling around in the box, no paper, no age label, no warnings, very odd!!! (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Target clearances begin

My Target had a few sets on clearance. Nothing big. Truely the prices look like someone just decided to drop them something like 3 bucks or so. Some of the sets were only down a buck.   Target clearances begin

Target has begun marking down a large variety of sets - Knights Kingdom, Harry Potter, DUPLO Castle, Spiderman, some Bionicle, older Star Wars, others.
