No we aren't looking to penalize anyone for not sending it quickly. I
hope no one got that idea, Like I've said this is a learning experience,
we need to figure out what's going to work best, if we don't try a few
other things we won't know what's going to be the best route for other
boxes or for these to continue and at least finish up somewhat quickly.
I am sad about them moving so slowly. If you look at the lists and
figure the weeks they've been out and about.. they should be MUCH
farther down the lists, even if everyone took a week to sort the box,
find their additions and send it off. They would still be much farther.

And just so everyone understands being bumped, you aren't bumped to the
bottom of the list, you stay right where you are, it's more like you're
skipped one turn, when the box is done at the person after you it will
come to you (as long as there isn't another box in your possession or on
it's way). This is only to help the boxes to keep moving, not to hurt
anyone for slow mailing, life emergency's and the like.. You can also
when someone asks for your address, if you feel you don't have the time,
ask them to take the next person, again you won't go to the end of the
list, that person will then contact you again about the box.  This will
ONLY work if people post about the boxes so we know where they are, let
us know that someone was skipped, and who it's going to, and that they
should contact someone specifically when they are done with the box.

You can take Chris Weeks box as a great example, that box had 10 to 12
people that got it, he posted the other day that he's been sitting on it
for over a month, I don't see many of our boxes having been to that many
people, and his first box didn't go out in order of where it was going.

I think the next stage of reworking the lists if this new way doesn't
work is going to be getting everyone's address and posting it along the
east to west or west to east route instead, I really don't want to scrap
the lists yet because there are so many people on it that haven't gotten
their chance, though if it's going to get it to them faster that might
be the way we have to do it.

Maybe people don't like someone taking charge of this, though if someone
doesn't this isn't going to go anywhere, and as of now I haven't seen
anyone else willing to do it, Granted I don't have the time, though I
don't want this to die out, like MFWT did, (for those of you that don't
know, go to http://mrfws1.innovation.com/~figs/index.en.html ) A lot of
people put a lot of time and energy into that project. I hate to think
we can't at least finish this one.

Again I hope no one took any offence to anything said here or
previously, We aren't trying to punish anyone with this.

I was supposed to get this boz about a month ago and still have not

to be developed as to how long someone can keep a box and penalties for
not sending the boxes promptly.

I think one should feel free to post who one thinks has it if one is
next. Timbo's message leaves me unsure as to whether he is the very next
in line, or just that he thinks the box should have reached him by now
(probably the former).

The penalty that seems to be forming by consensus is that one will be
removed from lists, or at least pushed way down, if one does not move
things along quickly. I'm not sure that a harsher penalty is enforcable,
or desirable even if it were.

(gee I hope one of the boxes that came in this week wasn't a J box!,
they've all been sitting around while I was in Boston)
