Space Box #1 Completed, Space Box #2 Announcement

I received the box yesterday (Thursday); really interesting! I don't think any of the original pieces were there, and there were some really cool pieces in what I received. Just a couple of months ago, I lucked into a bunch of space stuff. Now that (...) (24 years ago, 29-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Introducing the LUG Box

(...) With that being said, I'd like to announce that LUGOLA will be starting a *LUG box on November 4th. Ideally, we'd love to ship it to a LUG that is meeting on the 11th or 18th so it can begin moving. The idea is to get another activity going at (...)   Re: Weeks Box - round two (...no, really!)

(...) traded (...) it (...) It's back. And bigger than ever. No, I mean really! It was $18 to ship it back to me. I suspect that you folks would rather I pare some stuff out of it before circulating, so that's my plan. In eight days, the second (...) (24 years ago, 29-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Space Box #1 underway

Re: Technic Box #2 Update -shipped (was: Update)

(...) How did that happen? I thought the original idea was not to decrease the overall general value -- increasing it is optional and considered a bonus, no? --Todd (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Technic Box #2 Update -shipped (was: Update)

(...) I think it is better to keep the boxes close to two pounds, I'm willing to spend $3.20 for the chance to possibly get some neat pieces. The problem on these Jambalaya boxes is that very few parts are worth paying much to get the opportunity to (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

(...) now...it (...) take (...) I would be lying if I said the box box was a treasure trove. It did have "some" good pieces in it. The rest of the pieces were in there for "fill" factor. I haven't seen Technic Box 1, so I am not able to compare the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Technic Box #2 Update -shipped (was: Update)

(...) I'm not trying to be a prick, but I'm just not sure that the two statements above are both possible. It sounds like it was a treasure trove. And now...it is better than technic box #1, and it may well have gained weight (I'm not sure). But it (...) (24 years ago, 24-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Technic Box #2 Update -shipped (was: Update)

(...) Well, when the box started, it was at about 5 lbs. and included pneumatics, large gears, clutch gears, and other sought-after pieces. Most people on the list have really helped the box, but others have just been a little needier than the rest (...) (24 years ago, 23-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Technic Box #2 Update -shipped (was: Update)

(...) Me too. I'm done with it. Well, sort of. I'll either make two very minor trades with it for technic beams and a gear-chain (is that what we call them?) or I'll make no trades. There was nothing that I really wanted. Didn't these technic boxes (...) (24 years ago, 23-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)
