I have a *very* limited supply of girders (2 black, 8 grey) that I
hadn't yet priced for inclusion on my Brickbay shop. But since there
seem to be plenty of interested buyers here and, last I heard, this
is still the place for sealed-bid type sales...

The following lists the minimum sale amount for each lot. Bid on
as many or few as you like. Shipping will be $3.20 in the U.S. for
a Priority Mail box or $1 for a padded envelope. I will ship
internationally if you can pay in USD. I will accept bids until
Wed. Dec. 13, 6:00 p.m. CST (about the time I'll get home from
work tomorrow.) Earliest equal bid received wins a tie.

B1: 2 black girders from set 6444   $6
G1: 2 grey girders from set 3313    $20
G2: 2 grey girders from set 3313    $20
G3: 2 grey girders from set 3313    $40
G4: 2 grey girders from set 3313    $40

The high start on the 2nd pair of grey lots is because I'd rather
keep the whole set than sell for less. If you're desperate for a
complete 3313 or two, feel free to make an offer that exceeds the
price for 4 girders. FYI, I'm after the trans-yellow 2x4 rounded-top
bricks and they're not exactly common either, so keep that in mind.

I know that I'd *easily* buy two or three hundred of these
in black, but at the going rate of about $5 a pillar in
black, about that in red, and $20 in light grey (ack!),
I can't possibly afford them--even if they *were* available.
Hopefully LD could put out lattice pillars for $1 each or
less, probably not much less given that they're rather
complex pieces on the order of a large door or window.

Your best bet, Jonathan, might be to comb smaller stores
for leftover copies of 6444 Outback Airstrip, which if you're
lucky you can get for less than the $20 sticker price.  The
benefit of such a tactic is that if you're willing to part
the sets out and run auctions, you might feasibly get the
lattice girders for free (always the best price, I say).

If that fails, you can always organise something with a person
who hopes to buy a bajillion 2001 TIE fighters, and use the
"new" triangular girder bit.  I'd offer but, well, that's what
  I'm doing...:)

  best of luck,

  Lindsay
