I'm getting tired of a certain amount of the population endorsing an entirely
wasteful and abusive business tactic for their own petty and selfish goals. I
don't care for your attitude, nor for your "gimme" mentality.
Your argument amuses me, Teets, since I haven't had any complaints from my
neighbors as I go into a nightly tantrum over spam or clogged roads. In fact,
this is the first time I've heard of such tantrums. Or perhaps you dare to
discern the nature of my motives prior to discussing them. Please elaborate
-- or get off my back.

Hey, name-calling. How original. :-(
I have chosen my "camp", and I have very good and logical reasons for doing
so. The main reason is cost-shifting; I personally pay, in cash, for
spammers' advertisments, while the spammers get all the moentary rewards. The
market implications from this precedent are staggering -- how's that for a
"cost of living in civilization" for you?
I could go into greater depths, but I fear that rational discussion of the
effects of abusive enterprise and clogging up of the Internet would be lost on
the likes of you.
In fact, it is because of the likes of you that I can understand why some have
already left LUGNET. Which is sad, since I feel that I have contributed much
to this online society.
