So it is possible to make this set from the 6880 and 6929? I just can not
see it by looking at the pics of the 2 sets here on lugnet - granted I do
not have the sets in my hands, but this set looks much larger than the 2
could be when joined. But I take it that it can be done, and that is pretty
cool. Have you made this set from the 2 yourself?
My hat is tipped to you for winning the auction - I hope you will share many
pics of the box when you get it. And how is it being shipped and being
protected during its journey? I can see customs looking at the form and
saying "Lego worth $2,000+ US? NAHH - lets open it with this really big and
rusty knife and see whats really in it" So I will keep my fingers crossed
for you!

| (...) This isn't such a remote possibility. My brother had a sealed 7824 shipped to the US from the Netherlands and customs slaughtered the box. Hopefully whatever shipping/insurance arrangements were made took this into account. Steve (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.market.auction)
