  Re: Unique 2x4 Lego bricks

(...) make sense that they might have made some test runs with the 2x4 brick mold to try out the Modulex colors. Frank (22 years ago, 5-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Unique 2x4 Lego bricks

I have some 2x4 Lego bricks in unique colours. Three of them have the Lego tm mark printed on them, but have been disapproved due to color errors, the others are probably trials from the development process. I am willing to sell them, but I do not (...) (22 years ago, 2-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Philips printed brick

Hello, Can someone please tell me which set the "Philips" printed brick came with? Also, how can I tell the difference between the 241 and 242 idea books--which one is shown on LUGNET? Finally, if anyone has a 239 idea book or Lufthansa sets they (...) (22 years ago, 2-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Possible FOTW, old Samsonite LEGO

I found some old LEGO sets originally distributed by Samsonite. 002 Motor Pack, 021 Wheels Pack, and 120 Piece Pack. They are still in their opened original boxes, but I don't know if they are complete. Does anyone know what a good price for these (...)   Re: value and or worth of a display piece

(...) Not everyone's cup of tea, but to a shop display collector like me, I would say 80-100ukp would be a fair-ish sort of value. YMMV. Regards, Phil in Yorkshire. (22 years ago, 24-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Vector Comics

Good Point, I would think that most (non-Lego) People would understand that the creation is made from lots and lots of sets and rare parts, but do they really understand the costs involved? I barely do! I mean sheeeshh hundreds and hundreds of (...) (22 years ago, 24-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Vector Comics

Wow That is cool as for what you ask well that is a good question. do other artists change their "rental fee" depending on the medium? I wouldn't know where to begin to help you with this question. do you need insuranse on it too? just soem thoughts (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Vector Comics

Good Idea, Back in the day a single peice could decide and make all the difference in price. Now with the advent of Bricklink and e-bay. A single peice is now a matter of cents in the overall price instead of the full price of the set that a given (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Vector Comics

(...) Hey cool Eric! My two cents would have to be this. If you are selling your one-of-a-kind mech on ebay then I say charge what you think it's worth! The sky is the limit!! But if you're selling a repro of a design then I say charge your hourly (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Vector Comics

Hey Cool, I was asked to set up some Mecha at Vector Comics in Bayonne NJ. I brought a few to "wet the owners appetite". We are in negotiation for renting the Gomgile.   Appraisal required for 50 Years of Play Book

I was fortunate enough to be given a tour of the Lego Head Office in Johannesburg, South Africa in the mid 80's and was given a copy of the anniversary book "50 Years of Play". Whilst I have no intention of selling it, I was wondering whether anyone (...) (22 years ago, 16-Sep-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Team Transport

I am so sorry to double post, but I forgot to list one more Lego item I plan on selling soon. It's a Red Team Transport (3426), MISB as well. (URL) :) Sorry again about forgetting to put this with my last email -Kourtney (22 years ago, 7-Sep-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Boba Fett MISB

Hello all! I have a few sets lying around that I plan on getting rid of, and I was curious if I could get a rough estimate of what these two sets would run on Ebay, or maybe if I even sold them direct. Both are from 2000, so not very old. The sets (...) (22 years ago, 7-Sep-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: A good LEGO anecdote, and a bad one (A warning about buying Monster Studios sets)

(...) Yes. I believe so. (see the link below) (...) It's tough to say whether they have any specific value, but in the thread below there was some brief excitement and interest in the matter. (...) What's up with the Falcons? Is the falcon merely facing left instead of right? And is the print only on the torsos, or on shields too? And how much are they worth -- I don't see any on BrickLink? thanks, Chris FUT = l.m.appraisal (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Old bricks

Dan, What you have is Lego made from Cellulose Acetate (or CA). That is a kind of plastic that Lego used until 1963. After that, they switched to ABS still in use today. The Pat. Pend. mark appears on both CA and ABS bricks. The descriptions you use (...) (22 years ago, 21-Aug-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)
