  Team Transport

I am so sorry to double post, but I forgot to list one more Lego item I plan on selling soon. It's a Red Team Transport (3426), MISB as well. (URL) :) Sorry again about forgetting to put this with my last email -Kourtney (22 years ago, 7-Sep-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Boba Fett MISB

Hello all! I have a few sets lying around that I plan on getting rid of, and I was curious if I could get a rough estimate of what these two sets would run on Ebay, or maybe if I even sold them direct. Both are from 2000, so not very old. The sets (...) (22 years ago, 7-Sep-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: A good LEGO anecdote, and a bad one (A warning about buying Monster Studios sets)

(...) Yes. I believe so. (see the link below) (...) It's tough to say whether they have any specific value, but in the thread below there was some brief excitement and interest in the matter. (URL) collectors might have interest in them if available (...) (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal, lugnet.castle)

Re: A good LEGO anecdote, and a bad one (A warning about buying Monster Studios sets)

(...) What's up with the Falcons? Is the falcon merely facing left instead of right? And is the print only on the torsos, or on shields too? And how much are they worth -- I don't see any on BrickLink? thanks, Chris FUT = l.m.appraisal (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Old bricks

Dan, What you have is Lego made from Cellulose Acetate (or CA). That is a kind of plastic that Lego used until 1963. After that, they switched to ABS still in use today. The Pat. Pend. mark appears on both CA and ABS bricks. The descriptions you use (...) (22 years ago, 21-Aug-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Old bricks

Recently, I was at a garage sale and found a nearly complete Black Seas Barracuda set with original instructions and box. I noticed right away that it had pieces that didn't belong to the set. After I got it home, I looked through it and found some (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Robotics Discovery Set (9735)

I got a bit carried away recently and bought one of these half price (£49.95) from the online Lego shop. I'm in England, do I think I'd be able to sell it for what I paid? - and any ideas for where would be a good venue? (apart from lugnets (...) (22 years ago, 17-Aug-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Santa Fe 10020

Could someone tell me how much a low serial Santa Fe (Lego set 10020) would be worth with the designer signature on the box? (serial number lower than 15) Thanks (22 years ago, 16-Aug-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: 4561 Railway Express MISB How much???

(...) Yeah, I'd say that's about right for the price I'd *pay* for one. A couple of months ago I would have said $40, but I just had to reduce the price I want for a controller from a parted out 4561 on Bricklink by $5 (and it's still among the (...)   4561 Railway Express MISB How much???

So exactly how much would everybody estimate a 4561 Railway Express is worth mint in the box? Thanks Michael (22 years ago, 19-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Weight of a CRAPP?

Does anybody know how much one of them weighs? (in grams) thanks, -JHK (22 years ago, 15-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Mystery Board Game

Hello. I have recemtly acquired a lego board game, and am uncertain of it's history and worth. I can't find any reference to it anywhere, but I suspect it came out somewhere between 1978 and 1982. The box is primarily yellow with red edges and about (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: What's it Worth? 2586 Chess King

(...) Isn't that your answer right there, Chris? If you are asking what sane people pay for it, I'd say certainly no more than $5 or maybe even $2.50. I think I paid around $2.00 for 2-3 of them at a Kmart sale where they had been separated from the (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

What's it Worth? 2586 Chess King

Hi all, What's the avg. going rate of a MISB <set:2586 Chess King>? It was the promo set packaged with Lego Chess in '98. Bricklink's avg. sold price is around $13 for new sets. -Chris (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  1977 and 1976 sets - 210, 211, 278 etc

Hi, I have set 210, 211, 278 etc from 1976 or 1977. They are all mint in factory sealed boxes. Are the worth anything? Thanks Daniel (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: 450 identical minifigs (3305), sealed polybags

(...) Its probably best to try say selling in a brickshop or lugnet.market.buysell maybe first. If you can't get rid of them that way, then try a sell them through an auction service. I guess its all a matter of how fast you want to sell them. (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

450 identical minifigs (3305), sealed polybags

I have about 450, maybe 500, 3305 sealed polybags. They each contain one minifig, with black hair, smiley face, blue torso and white legs. Some bags have the shell logo in the bottom right corner, some a "limited edition" stamp. I cannot guarantee (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Completed Auction set 1552 Maersk Truck

(...) Hi, I am new to Lugnet. I got this set at eBay for 224 dollars. I do feel very lucky. The woman who sold this really had no idea how big Lego is and was surprised at the amount she got for it. I am fortunate indeed because the one that went (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Completed Auction set 1552 Maersk Truck

(...) If there is one thing worse than bidding against a person with 0 feedback, it's bidding against a person with -1 feedback and a non-payer bidder comment to go with it. Ok, ok, you should never bid more than a set is worth. But there is no (...) (22 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)
