Recently PennLUG was contacted by the York Dispatch newspaper to do an article on the LUG and on the hobby in general.   LEGO Gortons' Fisherman, coming to a supermarket near you
 
Hi, everybody! For the past 3 months, I've been working with folks from (URL) Seafood> on a sculpture of the Gortons' Fisherman (as seen in (URL) logo>.) Alone, he's not such a big model -- but I was asked to build EIGHT of them! (3 URLs) See photos (...) PennLUG will be having its first open house some time in Sept or Oct. This will be an opportunity for AFOL's around the area to meet up and help bring out some of the "sleepers" as I think Jake McKee called them. This will be more of a display than (...) Well gang, The meeting on May 21st went very well. Jeff, Tim, and I met up at the Lego store in Bridgewater, Nj. We moved on from there to the Lego store in the Rockaway mall.
