Yes! Finally! Now I get to be as poor as everybody else who lives within easy commuting distance of a LEGO Store. The Portland (Oregon) store just opened in Washington Square, near Meier & Frank, and it's very nice. I slipped in before it was (...) NWBrickCon 2005, a convention in the Pacific Northwest for Adult Fans of Lego, will take place October 7th, 8th, and 9th, 2005, in Seattle. All AFOLs are invited. Please help me - I got lost and accidently hitched a ride back from BrickFest on Matt Chiles' roller coaster, but now I want to go home... The trouble is that I am not sure where home is - I have amnesia. Possibly I was hit with debris from a (...) (...) It is about 12 hours by car, so that sounds about right by bus. Amtrak also serves that route. Trains leave Portland at 2:25pm, arriving in Oakland at 8:35am and San Jose at 9:55am. Hi Todd, Looking forward to seeing you in April! BTW, April 16 is my birthday. Looks like we need to schedule a BayLUG/BayLTC meeting for Saturday April 26th! I'm planning to be in San Francisco the week of April 21-25 and am wondering if I can squeeze in a visit to the PNLTC show in Portland on April 17-19.
