Hello potential New LUG members... :-)
Ok. It seems that there are several people who have replied to this thread
that they would be interested in a local LUG. So. What is the next step? Do
we need to find a place where we can meet? Are there other things that we need
to discuss first? Anybody got some input?
Maybe we should give each other some idea of where our interests lie. I am
interested mostly in Castle, and occasionally in Technics and Mindstorms. I
enjoy seeing all type of MOCs though, and who knows, given the proper
initiation, I could expand my horizons. :-)
One thought that I had was maybe talking to a local public library. Building
with Lego bricks is certainly an educational experience. I would expect that
either someone would need to work there, or we would need to be more organized
to actually get space set aside for us, plus it would mean being extremely
public. There are both positives and negatives on that issue. Anyone else
have any ideas?
