Hi All,
I returned yesterday evening from the EastCoast Brick Fest put on by WAMALUG.
It was cool. It appears that there are quite a few folks around who are LEGO
enthusiasts, and I thought it might be nice to put some kind of club together
for semi-regular events.
Who is interested? I am imagining this to be for people centered on the
wideish corridor between NYC and Philly. I am in central New Jersey. I know
there are at least four of you out there who are also in my rough area. There
were people from near Tom's River in DC this weekend. There are probably
bunches in NYC and Philly, but I'm only thinking of a couple in NYC and one in
Philly, off-hand.
What would it be called? NJLUG would be OK, but I don't at all want to exclude
anyone else who want's to participate. Also, the LUG names have so far been
pretty utilitarian and geographic, it wouldn't need to be.
Well, let me know if there's any interest or if I'm missing something. And if
you are interested, let me know what you think such an organization should do.
Chris
