  Re: GTG in Denver

I was suggesting dinner just for an "introductory" phase. I though we could figure things out from there. I would love to have a building session. Does anyone have the space so that we could spread out? Our place is too disorganized at the moment. (...) (26 years ago, 6-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

Our house is o.k. in the sense that we've got an entire downstairs area dedicated to LEGO building. It's not huge, but it works. Our only problem (a little embarrassing to admit) but we've only been back into LEGO for the past couple of years and as (...) (26 years ago, 6-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

(...) Sure, fine, let's do dinner first. I just typically can't get away from work till well past 7 or 8 PM, and need to go to bed by 11ish typically given that I have 7 AM meetings a lot of the time. What's nice about my apt is that it doesn't HAVE (...) (26 years ago, 6-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

I don't fully agree with the building with the host's pieces idea. I think we all should be able to bring our pieces, but with the knowledge that we bring them at our own risk. I do agree with the idea that we don't mix pieces, unless it involves a (...) (26 years ago, 9-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

(...) Thursday SHOULD work for me. what should I bring other than an appetite? Train stuff? We're deep in estimating so I may have to beg off at the last min but will try to post/email. (26 years ago, 10-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

(...) Train stuff sounds good. We don't have a layout setup at the moment, but there's certainly nothing from stopping us. :) If you guys decide that you want to do the pizza thing, bring some $$$ for the pizza order. We can supply softdrinks and (...) (26 years ago, 10-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)
