Did the Denver store get a Duplo Promo brick?

I have been on the lookout for a Duplo Promotional brick from the opening, like the other stores get. My friend who is local is to shy to ask if they have them, lol. And I can not seem to get the number from 411. Soooooo.. if they do have them I (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

Re: We're got a lego store! [Denver]

I was able to check out the LEGO store before I headed over to Jillians. All new sets, all at retail, some T-shirts and maybe some other non brick accessories :/ Well the mall is cool so I would come down to see the mall. (...) (23 years ago, 16-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

Re: We're getting a lego store! [Denver]

(...) Not really. They've got the same stuff that most toy stores can get, without even any train sets. The only really 'cool' thing is the selection of lego pens. It's alright if you're in the area anyway, but it's nothing to travel to Denver for. (...) (23 years ago, 16-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

Re: We're getting a lego store! [Denver]

I got a sneak peak of the LEGO store yesterday, Nov 10 (four days before the mall opens). I got to eat at the "Chilis Too" restaurant as I was invited for a mock dinner. They were having the employees practice running the restaurant and I got to eat (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

(...) Serious suggestion to you AFOLs in the Denver area -- consider getting a part-time job at the LEGO store. Employee discounts are *very* fun... <grin> JohnG, GMLTC (former part-time employee at the Mall of America LEGO Imagination Center) (23 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

  We're getting a lego store!

Hi folks. As per last Sunday's Denver Post Business section, the new Colorado Mills mall that's opening up at I-70 and Colfax on November 14th will have a Lego store inside.
