Re: Fremont meeting - Should I stay or should I go now...

The boys and I have put together an Islander display, and are planning on showing up for a little while. What time will people be there? -gyug (26 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Announcing an extra Q4 BayLUG meeting!

I know I won't be able to make either meeting as classes are ending during that period and I'll need all my spare time to finish classwork. I'm working Saturdays now and just can't afford to take the time off of work. I also might be starting a new (...) (26 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

(...) one. (...) Well, I can't argue with a statement like that. I will be there. I will also try to get more train stuff together, lest I show up and seem like I am all talk, no show. (...) Get the new Supercar. That will keep you busy all day! :-) (...) (26 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Fremont meeting - Should I stay or should I go now...

(...) I was planning to be at the Nov 27 meeting, mainly because I was really hoping to meet you and see your trains! If you decide not to come I really hope you can make it to the Dec 4 meeting.   Re: Fremont meeting - Should I stay or should I go now...

Well, it sounds like there will be three or four of us, so I guess we're still on for Saturday. It'll be an intimate gathering, but so much the better for that. ;-) I'm also planning to attend on the 4th of DEC, which will be the following weekend (...)   Fremont meeting - Should I stay or should I go now...

Zonker, Let me know if there is going to be anyone at the Fremont meeting. I am currently planning on attending, but would hate to show up and be the only one. I have been busting my butt on getting my train station closer and closer to completion, (...) (26 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Announcing an extra Q4 BayLUG meeting!

(...) Yeah, cancelling sounds the best. There's been comparatively minimal feedback about the 11/27 meeting. It's really no wonder why that weekend was open at the library. Even if there's minimal or no walk-in traffic on 12/4, that's okay, cuz I'm (...) (26 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

RE: Announcing an extra Q4 BayLUG meeting!

Zonker, I was planning on being there with a bunch of town and classic space stuff. But I was planning on being at the Newark meeting as well so if you cancel November I'll simply have to go through withdraw and wait a month. Janet -----Original (...)   RE: Announcing an extra Q4 BayLUG meeting!

Sorry Zonker, We're booked at the Outlaws 'till Sunday. The following weekend is a no-go too. If it looks bad for the 27th, cancel soon so as to not piss off the Library people. It is the best place I know of for us, and would like to be welcomed (...) (26 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Announcing an extra Q4 BayLUG meeting!

Well, it looks like there may not be anyone but ME on Saturday at the LEGO meeting in Fremont. :-( So, is there anyone who WILL be there this weekend? :-) My plan is to submit myself to the horrors of travel on a holiday weekend to get back to the (...) I won't be making the 11/27 meeting either, I forgot I'll be in SoCal this week. I don't know if I'll have time for the 12/4 meeting either. Dang.   CFD: Subgroups for lugnet.org.us & lugnet.trains.org

Watching the recent discussions in lugnet.org and lugnet.org.us has been a lot of fun. (...) not (...) Under further consideration, FWIW, I won't be coming to the 11/27 meeting after all, as it's just too busy a weekend :(.   Re: NMRA Convention in San Jose

I am talking about the entire module system, including the huge chunk of 2x4 and bricks covering a 96x144 area stacked 20 bricks high.   Re: NMRA Convention in San Jose

I'm unclear what a "module" includes. Are you talking about just a wood table or are you including the bricks that are part of the top of the GMLTC layout? I was in St. Paul over the weekend and got to see their setup. It is awesome, if I can do (...) (26 years ago, 15-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Announcing an extra Q4 BayLUG meeting!

Hello Bay Area Lego Fan, With Zonker's help, my wife Nancy and I reserved a meeting room at the Newark library for December 4th, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Everyone is welcome!
