Re: Toy Go Round has some nice sets

(...) You wouldn't say that if it were chasing you ;-) I think the slightly "silly" look is part of its charm: it reminds me of the sort of bots they used to come up with for the Jetsons. (...) Unless someone tells them about ebay... Does anybody (...) (24 years ago, 11-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Wal-Mart Sale?

(...) Okay: been there, done that ;-) The last 2 <set:6467> are gone from the south SJ store. But somebody there must really like Lego, because they're trying desperately to hold on to it: the rest of the clearance stuff is still only 20% off. (...) [switching to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, since it's area-specific] (...) I was at the north San Jose store yesterday, and there were none. The 7171 is not that hot a deal, since it's in the new $50 pack at Target. There were about a half-dozen 7151s at (...) (24 years ago, 10-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Dave, Too bad you missed the meet, I brought a Space Police Mission Commander (converted to a unitron color scheme). Could you pick up the space police items for me (6895 and 6955)?   Toy Go Round has some nice sets

Hey all, Since I missed the meet last week because I was reading sf.oak instead of this one, I thought I'd pass along some Lego joy by letting everyone now about some very nice sets to be had at one of my favorite local consignment shops.   Re: Lego Dating

(...) I'll answer from the perspective of totally platonic relationships since I haven't had the fortune to date anyone with a LEGO collection. If I have any new creations that haven't been seen by the person(s) I'm visiting, I usually bring it (...) (24 years ago, 9-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Lego Dating

Ok, after the discussion last week about meeting people that are also interested in Lego, it got me to wondering. What do people do with their Lego when they get together? Do you not bring any of your Lego over to other person's house, for fear it (...) (24 years ago, 9-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Airport Schedule Tom?

Hi Tom, Well, I've got a wing and a cool jet engine now attached to the single fuselage section of the jumbo jet.
