  Re: Star Wars sets

I have heard that the LEGOLAND Store doesn't have the Star Wars models either, and S@H is quoting that they don't expect to have any until May sometime. This sure lends credence to the rumor that the models were released too early, and that they (...) (25 years ago, 13-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Carlsbad still crowded?

There were radio reports earlier this week that people were being turned away from the park because of crowding. I have this second hand. Didn't hear the report myself. John C (25 years ago, 10-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.general)

Re: Star Wars in the Bay Area

(...) I was at a Target here in the east bay the other day and they had a sticker on the shelf for landspeeders, but alas, and of course, there weren't any. I thought maybe they were getting ready to set them out but the next day I returned and the (...) (25 years ago, 8-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Star Wars in the Bay Area

I don't know if everyone has already been able to find the SW sets around here yet, but I thought I'd mention that I was at the Serramonte Target the other day, and while they didn't have the sets, they did have the aisle tags up for all 4 of the (...)   Re: Carlsbad still crowded?

(...) to (...) John - I was in California recently on a business trip and stopped by Legoland on Marsh 26th, soon after the grand opening. Even though it was a miserable, rainy day, I was shocked at the number of people still visiting the park. (...) (25 years ago, 8-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.general)

  Followup: BayLUG.org is on-line

Since the naming thread didn't get copied to the San Jose list, I wanted to post a followup message. The name BayLUG.org was chosen, and the website was launched 3/2/99. We have a tentative graphic in place, and we are still looking for feedback (...) (25 years ago, 7-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj)

  Carlsbad still crowded?

Now that the Grand Opening is over and things are settling down, I would like to take my family to Legoland in Carlsbad. However, I am worried that large crowds will ruin the Legoland experience for my 4 and 6 year old children. Can anyone tell me (...)   Re: thank you for coming

Hi Raymond, Did you take any pictures in the park? Are you going to scan and post any of them? Can we point to your pictures from BayLUG.org? (Would you care to have them hosted on the baylug site? Do you want to put your LEGO page(s) there? Where (...) (26 years ago, 31-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Oh yeah, the videotape...

Like I said in my earlier blurbs, I shot a fair bit of video at the park, and a bit more at the LEGOfest afterwards. (Tom Stangle: I may have even caught you up the kid-power tower in the morning...or your evil twin! ;-) It's a bit more than an (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: LEGOLAND pictures

(...) Thanks to the people who reported broken links. Image 16 and 23 work now. I will rescan image 28 when I get a new scanner. Russell (26 years ago, 30-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
