  Re: Shell stations with Lego?

No, 1256 is the largest, and SHOULD be $20. Um, where did you see this? ;-) (...) -- Tom Stangl ***(URL) Visual FAQ home ***(URL) Bay Area DSMs (23 years ago, 25-Jun-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Shell stations with Lego?

(...) Just how much are the larger sets supposed to be? I saw one station selling the 1256 for $19.99 USD...I passed, thinking that the station had caught wise to the fact that some people are buying for online resale and wanted to get in on the (...)   Shell stations with Lego?

OK, I hit 6 stations in San Carlos and Sunnyvale yesterday, and 4 had the 1246-1251 sets, but NONE had the larger 1252-1256 sets. Personally, I only need about 10-12 1252s and a couple of 1256s. If anyone sees some between San Carlos and San Jose, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jun-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

(...) Where are you? Saturday lunch is probably more possible for me. Unfortunately, my family's plans aren't set in stone either. --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 14-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: June 16-18

(...) There doesn't seem to be much participation in the discussion. I'm not familliar enough with Fremont to organize anything there, and many people will probably be busy with Father's Day stuff. If all else fails, would you (and any interested (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: June 16-18

(...) Hmm, if I come, I'll need a way to get from (probably) Saratoga, where our campground is, to Fremont. This seems like it's getting more and more complicated.... --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: June 16-18

(...) I just realized that there may be some father's day stuff going on, so I might have to bow out. Sometimes 'dad' is the last to know these things. -Tom McD. (23 years ago, 9-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: June 16-18

(...) It's in Fremont, CA. If you call up a map of Fremont on MapBlast or MapQuest, look for a green triangle with a lake in the middle of it. Or enter "sailway dr & paseo padre" for the address and "fremont, ca" for the city and state. --Bill. (23 years ago, 9-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: June 16-18

(...) Actually, if we're gonna be in a park, I probly wouldn't bring any train stuff, but I'd bring other stuff. So IMO, I'd wanna come to both events, but I probly wouldn't stay as long at the park. -Tom McD. (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: June 16-18

(...) Like Chris, I can't promise anything, so if you don't want to see each other, don't worry about me. Where is this park? --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Mountain View library

I signed up with the Mountain View library, partly to find out what their community meeting room looks like. Since we've had such trouble getting a reservation at the Fukaya room in Fremont, I though it would be good to have a backup venue. The (...)   Re: June 16-18

(...) Well that is too bad. Better luck next time, I suppose! However, we do have Bram coming out the following week (which is why this thread got started) - BayLUGgers, shall we try to get together that weekend (16 or 17) in the park instead? (...)   Re: June 16-18

(...) I guess I'd better call it a no. Thanks for entertaining the notion of getting together ad hoc though. Sorry for starting the thread needlessly. I'll try to plan farther ahead next time I'm out here. Chris (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
