I signed up with the Mountain View library, partly to find out what
their community meeting room looks like.  Since we've had such trouble
getting a reservation at the Fukaya room in Fremont, I though it would
be good to have a backup venue.

The room itself is not quite as big as the Fukaya room, but it's big
enough for us I believe.  I took some pictures with my digital camera,
if anyone's interested.  Facilities are comparable to those in Fremont.

The one big problem is they have a strict policy against any buying or
selling.  So Uncle Dan wouldn't be permitted to set up shop, and other
deals would probably be limited to bartering.

They charge $10 to reserve the room.  However, it sounds like it's
also difficult to get a weekend slot, so it might not be any better
than Fukaya in that regard.  But it may be an option in a pinch...
