  Followup: BayLUG.org is on-line

Since the naming thread didn't get copied to the San Jose list, I wanted to post a followup message. The name BayLUG.org was chosen, and the website was launched 3/2/99. We have a tentative graphic in place, and we are still looking for feedback (...) (25 years ago, 7-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj)

  Carlsbad still crowded?

Now that the Grand Opening is over and things are settling down, I would like to take my family to Legoland in Carlsbad. However, I am worried that large crowds will ruin the Legoland experience for my 4 and 6 year old children. Can anyone tell me (...)   Re: thank you for coming

Hi Raymond, Did you take any pictures in the park? Are you going to scan and post any of them? Can we point to your pictures from BayLUG.org? (Would you care to have them hosted on the baylug site? Do you want to put your LEGO page(s) there? Where (...) (26 years ago, 31-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Oh yeah, the videotape...

Like I said in my earlier blurbs, I shot a fair bit of video at the park, and a bit more at the LEGOfest afterwards. (Tom Stangle: I may have even caught you up the kid-power tower in the morning...or your evil twin! ;-) It's a bit more than an (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: LEGOLAND pictures

  Re: Trip Reports?

(...) I was told this by a park employee, but when I asked at the Big Shop, I was given the number to customer service. I asked again as we left, but the lady at the entrance had not heard of this. Russell (26 years ago, 29-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Trip Reports?

(...) OK, ok! Sheesh, I've got lots of new Star Wars models to build before I get back to web pages! ;-) So, in brief; We had a great time, despite the rain and ind and cold at noontime. The rides (Story Brooke, and the safari ride, and even the big (...) (26 years ago, 29-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  LEGOLAND pictures

My scanner has apparently taken a dump on me this weekend. I have uploaded the pictures that I got scanned. (URL) don't have an index or descriptions yet, but they will be up when the rest of my pictures are scanned and uploaded.   Re: Trip Reports?

I only took about 130 more pics the second weekend, I was too busy at work to mess with them, but I hope to thumbnail them next week. Then begins the fun part of taking notes to logically reorganize the pics by area, so I can scan the park map, and (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Trip Reports?

Like Fred, I'm looking forward to reading whatever folks post to baylug. Right now, Tom Stangl's site is providing my picture fix. Thanks Tom! If I had my head on straight a month or two ago, I should have organized, or at least suggested, a "sour (...) (26 years ago, 26-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
