Hi All, Somewhat picked over, 1 gungan sub, 1 infiltrator, 2 A's pod racers, many droid fighters & swamps left. No "old" SW sets. Said they'd call me when more come in. Infiltrator is over with poor regular stock. Sale runs through Saturday. I (...) (25 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

First BayLUG meeting deemed "a success"!

We met at the Fremont main public library in the Fukaya Room. This room was large, seats 96 folks, and we had (14) 2.5'x 5' tables set out for our use, whith lots of chairs. We had a bunch of power outlets on the walls, as well as in pockets in the (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  BAYLUG LEGOFest Q's and Comments

Hi Zonker and everyone, Do you know Ray's email? He left before I could get a grab bag. Do you know if he has any left? I'd like to see if he has any yellow parrots left. ;-) How was dinner. etc., on Sat. evening? I think the meet was a huge (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Grab bags at LEGOFest

(...) It turns out Tom Stangl won't be coming, so I'll stay away from buying his so that you can. He wanted two bags. I was going to buy one, but I think I can hold off now I that KMart is having that 15% off sale :) -Tom McD. when replying, please (...) (25 years ago, 22-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Grab bags at LEGOFest

It turns out I'll be able to make it, and bring the kids also. Could set aside two bags for us? I know it's late, so maybe we'll have to take our chances. I'll be bringing my "low-riding" chrome and red Y-wing. -gyug (...) (25 years ago, 22-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Raymond wrote (in part); (...) I wanted to thank Raymond in front of the group for doing this. He had volunteered to do this last October in SF, and I think we were all very happy with the quantity (value) and the mix of parts. I'm glad that he (...)   Re: Star Wars EP1 models spotted @ 7-11!

(...) Well, I wouldn't necessarily rush out for these. This is $1 over MSRP, and furthermore K-Mart is having a 15%-off sale on Star Wars LEGO beginning Sunday! But thanks for the shopping update! I too have never heard of LEGO at 7-11. I guess the (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Grab bags at LEGOFest

Well, the grab bags have come together, and I hope people like them! This time the $10 bag features about $18-worth of LEGO -- about a 45% discount off MSRP! In addition, these bags will have: -- 4 or 5 minifigs per bag, -- green, tan, grey, dark (...)   Won't be making it to the gathering...

Car troubles again, I need to spend tomorrow fixing it. I had said I wanted 2 grab bags - if there are some left, I STILL want 2, but if people there want them, sell them, don't get stuck with them until I can afford to come pick them up. (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Star Wars EP1 models spotted @ 7-11!

I don't often stop by, and I've *never* seen LEGO kits in a 7-11 store...before today. In Palo Alto, on Lytton Ave, east of Bryant (maybe at Waverly?), I found 6 Lightsaber Duels, going for $6.99 each this morning. There don't seem to be many new (...)   RE: Lunch in Library OK

Hi Zonker, Yes, I think they give me the key. There should be about 10-12 tables available, I expect 2-3 X 5-6 ft in size. I will not bring any track etc. then. I think we will bring our Airport setup, which is: 6341 Gas n' Go Flyer 6345 Aerial (...) (25 years ago, 20-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
