I'm thinking about tearing down there on MLK weekend, but only for one LONG day, since I've seen the park several times already. The Big K on Fruitdale (near 280 and Meridian) is closing in a couple of weeks. The toy markdown is currently 50%. There wasn't a whole lot of Lego left, and I skimmed most of the good stuff (about half-a-dozen $10 SW sets, and a 4293 that (...) (24 years ago, 28-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj)

Well, thanks to a pre-Christmas Sale at Target, I picked up EACH of the UCS sets for $69.90! Apparently whoever was putting the stickers on them, put the much lower price for the Tie Interceptor on one of the X-Wings in the row. So, I lucked out and (...) I juat parted out some Power Pit Stops, and have about 8 that I'd like to swap for some (like-)new ones of just about any other color (my order of preference (...)
