  Re: We're on the itinerary!

(...) We at the GMLTC will be very sensitive about that issue. When we display the layout at train shows, we are very emphatic when asked (one of the most asked questions, BTW, right behind "how many bricks are there in the layout" and "how long (...)   Re: We're on the itinerary!

(...) Hey, that's kind of interesting from a community-strategic point of view... What you've got there with the signage is an opportunity to let people know -- or at least hint at -- the fact that LDraw is a fan-created and fan-run project/system (...)   Re: We're on the itinerary!

(...) Ya, well said! What I hope we as a community can help LEGO avoid is (to coin a phrase) "fansploitation" -- i.e., taking advantage of or exploiting things that fans did which they wish they'd thought of or done first, since they're getting into (...)   Re: Weeks Jambalaya Box - round two

Paul Sinasohn traded into it, Russell Clark has decided to just wait until Kidvention. Noone else so far (there's some GOOD stuff in here, people, I can't believe people aren't speaking up! I put in a 1255!). Going south around 7/11. (...) -- Tom (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: We're on the itinerary!

(...) I agree with you, but I'm not sure that this would be any more clear to the average person that this isn't Lego-sponsored, without further explanatory text. (24 years ago, 26-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.events, lugnet.trains.org)

It says the truck is there 4pm through half-time - but hte building contest is 4-6, with a winner announced at 6:30pm. What are the hours on the Soccer Truck? I have a meeting from 9 to 5 in San Jose on Saturday, so I could come by your place before or after.... But I'm definitely in for this.... I will TRY to come down. Unfortunately, I lost the transmission in my one trustworthy car this weekend, and am scrambling to gather parts to toss together a spare tranny and get it into the car. OK, I HAVE the Weeks Jambalaya box. I'll bring it to the Soccer Tour bus on Sat in case anyone wants to trade into it. BTW, it cost Chris $13.50 to ship it to me, so it's heavy, tossing in $1 to trade into it is definitely fair. There are 6 Supercar (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
