How are lugnet.loc.us... groups being used these days?

I'm curious. I was in Florida for 2.5 weeks and posted in lugnet.loc.us.fl and got no response at all. I have seen very little activity in the various lugnet.loc groups I follow. I sense that most local even planning is now done on private LUG or (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us, lugnet.org)

Re: Anyone out there in North Dakota / northern Minnesota?

I'm in ND, I live in Fargo. I thought I was the only one in ND that likes Lego. Good to hear from you! Evan R. Brickton.net (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.nd.far)

  road baseplates 6322

Hello, Is there anyone who will be at the next BayLUG meeting (Sat Feb 8, 2003) who wants some of the 6322 road plates? These are the straight plates that have recently sold out of Shop at Home. I found a source of them. They are $6 or $7 plus tax. (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Meeting on Thursday, 23-Jan-2003?

(...) I am not sure of the one in lancaster as I haven't been to that one lately. Tha Zainy Brainy in the Camp Hill mall had several different sets on clearance (Star Wars, Racers, Jack Stone, etc.) I am going there during lunch so i will report of (...)   Re: Meeting on Thursday, 23-Jan-2003?

Hello everyone, I was in at the Lancaster Zany Brainy tonight and didn't see any LEGO on sale despite huge 30 - 50 % off storewide clearance sale signs. None of those signs were in the LEGO section. I'd like to join you wherever you end up the week (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi.har)

  Re: Meeting on Thursday, 23-Jan-2003?

(...) That's no inducement for me! It's a chain. My mantra, avoid chains, you can eat at chains anywhere anytime. That place we stumbled upon for lunch... that's the sort of thing I like to find. That said, I'm willing to travel to York if everyone (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi.har)

  Re: Meeting on Thursday, 23-Jan-2003?

(...) Any recommendations? Do folks want to travel to York? We've got an Outback Steakhouse now. (...) The one in Lancaster? Any idea what the discount is? -Rob. (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi.har)

  Re: Meeting on Thursday, 23-Jan-2003?

(...) That Wednesday is good for Maelee and I so far. Just let us know the details of where and when. So what has everybody been up to lately. Alot of my time is being spent sorting all the sets from the recent sales. FYI, Zainy Brainy is having a (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi.har)

(...) Probably my bad. (...) Either will work (at this point ;-) let's start with Wednesday, 29-Jan-2003 and adjust if necessary. -Rob. (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi.har)

  Re: Meeting on Thursday, 23-Jan-2003?

(...) This does not work for me, regrettably, since I'm flying back Thursday next week instead of Friday, I have a show in Detroit Friday-Sunday. (thought I told you about that, sorry if I forgot!) (...) It's looking like well into March and perhaps (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi.har)

  Meeting on Thursday, 23-Jan-2003?

Any takers? I'm in York, but can be in the Harrisburg area by 6:30ish. Larry is in town for a few weeks (we discussed Wednesday, but I now have a schedule conflict on that evening... oh well). If Thursday is no good, suggest an alternative into the (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi.har)

Harrisburg is not a Suburb of Philly

Please elevate Harrisburg from .loc.us.pa.phi.har to .loc.us.pa.har .hbg would be better but I digress... -Rob. (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi.har, lugnet.admin.suggestions)

I'll find out in a couple of weeks!

Hey all, I e-mailed Melissa about being profiled for the "Ultimate Collectors" show and she called me! We set up a phone interview which, I think, went very well.   Re: Target's MOT 75% off

  Target's MOT 75% off

Keep checking your local Target's train stock. I helped liberate a couple of Kansas City area stores that had moved their trains to the magical 75% off mark this week. Unlike last year's consistent markdowns by region, it seems as if each store's (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.mo.kan)

Re: Western Mass, Lego, and More

(...) , that's I found my Exclusive train for at a MPLS area Target last week for. Haven't seen any of the separate cars recently but there's these train LUG's around here that I suspect of scooping up as much as they can get :^) Mike (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.spr, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Western Mass, Lego, and More

(...) Heh, I don't actually live in Western Mass either. I'm from south of the border in Connecticut, but I work in Southwick. You'll have bring your Mac to work someday so I can stop in during lunch and see what it's like in person. (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.spr)
