Yvonne and Steve,

The selection consists mainly of parts that are of interest to young
builders, so lots of bright coloured bricks, fences, trees, flowers and so
on. The range has recently been changed significantly, with useful colours
like grey and dark grey being limited now to 2x4's, if memory serves, and
tan and sand green being removed completely.

There has never been any Technic, unless you count 2x2 bricks with a pin on
the side as Technic. There's never been any hugely useful plates, either.

It is sold by tub, £11 for 1 litre, £6 for 1/2 litre. That's something
around 90-odd 2x4's I believe (or 110+ if you spend time stacking them in
the shop). Others have done experiments on the benefits of stacking and I'm
sure if they read this they'll enlighten us.

The Brickish Association (www.brickish.org) maintain a 'bulk tracker' which
allows members to upload the inventory of a shop after visiting, and others
to see what's available before going. I therefore suggest that you both
consider joining :-)

From my only visit to MK, the bowls contain a mixture of pieces from

Is their any technic?

A handy hint is to make sure that you pack
small pieces around the recess at the bottom of your beaker first in • order
not to waste any space!!! ;-)

And I suppose the larger size beaker gives you better value for money?
