  So What

Happened to the J-Boxes at the End, and what are we proposing to do with the J-box Situation? Steve (23 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  UK J-Boxes (was: So What)

(...) Well, no-one wanted the J-Box, so it was left behind for me. I asked around in the train room, and the general consensus was that no-one wanted the box, but a few of the parts might be useful - so a bit of 'thinning' ensued, then I took it (...) (23 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) I suspect the sorted minifig bags (whole, partial, accessories) were from the Minifig J-Box ?? (...) The proposal sounds OK to me. Chris (23 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: UK J-Boxes (was: So What)

(...) RE: J-Boxes (...) Seems like three conditions? but anyway I'm sure we get the idea. (...) Well when the first box started over a year ago, it was pretty good, and I'm sure I'm not theonly one that got something useful out of the box. Therefore (...) (...) with (...) We could always split it into several smaller themed J-boxes, i.e. a minifig J-box, a technic J-box, a System J-box and a literature J-box. Steve (23 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) As opposed to what we have now, which is the latter. Now, bear in mind that no-one out of 29 UKAFOLs actually wants the J-Box, but you're talking about making five of them? Where are you going to find five seperate people who actually want to (...) (23 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

"Jason Briscoe" <jason-shirley@brisc...rve.co.uk> wrote in message news:GCM36A.KxB@lugnet.com... (...) How about a combination of ideas: a 1Kg J-box with only new parts to be added to it. Many of us are picky and only 'do' new parts :-) Huw (23 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) So, what you're saying is, you don't want the current one(s?). Can I break it up like I suggested then? You can start another one if you like; that's just two conditions then, so Jason'll be happy :-) Jason J Railton (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)
