I understand your concern, but using a logo divorced from its corporate context
- ie copying a logo and placing it on a site is very different from
redisplaying corperate literature already in the public domain. But that said,
IANAL! Have you recieved communication specifically regarding the display of
catalogues?

It would be nice, but there are probably lots of reasons why it wouldn't happen
- moderation being one of them - lego.com is heavily moderated, LUGNET and
other sites aren't.
I suppose we could hope for a 'fan web-site' section, with appropriate
disclaimers on lego.com?
