Re: Stallman mentions Lego in newspaper article

(...) True. It's my belief: "Those who can, do." "Those who can't, teach." "Those who can't teach become journalists." Actually, I don't believe that part about teaching.   Cheshire shopping report

Just a couple of things I noticed recently: Warrington TRU has some RBRs (6289). They were on the top shelf, without prices, but IIRC they were about GBP50 last time I bought one. I am hoping to see more Technic's for the 2000 release The new Slizers, they have a disk on the front as a wheel? I am not to keen on the slammers 8236,8237,8238. They must use the same system as the 8205 Racers. Look's like we will have to wait (...) (26 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  UK 2000?

Any wild guesses as to what will and won't be in the UK catalogue? What about Futbol - as we got the soccer sets they may decide not to release it over here! Richard (26 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Followups to off-topic.debate, because... suffice it to say, I do not agree, sir. :-) Stallman may be a bit flakey as a person, but I think the general theme that one can create "free" software and make a healthy living from it is extremely valid.
