I have no appetite for McDonalds food, and I have no time to go to one of their "restaurants" once a week to get these sets. So I'm buying a complete set of the sets... for what works out at <UKP10 (plus shipping). If anyone wants to do the same, (...) (26 years ago, 30-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

If you check amazon.co.uk and use 'Lego' as your search word, both of these books appear twice - I think for UK and US editions - under slightly different names, e.g. 'Amazing Figures (Lego Modelers)' for the US editions and 'Lego Modellers : (...) I should have posted earlier, sorry. Waterstones in Bath had them in when I checked on Monday. They cost me a whopping £3.99 each, which is the price shown on the back of the book anyway. I think they're great. My daughter has already seen the (...) (26 years ago, 29-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.books)

I got more of the low-down from staff in the Ottakar shop today. The rose is indeed the Charles Rennie McIntosh version referred to previously. DK and Lego are running the show, so the lassie didn't know what the free gifts were to be, though she (...) (26 years ago, 29-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
