The separately boxed sub-assemblies have slashed construction time dramatically - no more sifting though 100's of pieces for the one you are after. | | | | The 8448 has a slot to insert the new technic gear motor and the instructions and the end of the 2nd book show a stand which lifts the rear wheels so that the motor can drive them and you can shift through the gears, watch the wheels change speed (...)
