| (...) I have built the chassis, in about 2-3 hours. The separately boxed sub-assemblies have slashed construction time dramatically - no more sifting though 100's of pieces for the one you are after. It has - rear-wheel drive only - front steering (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

| I picked up an 8448 from Argos today! The box and instruction cover feature a new style Technic logo and artwork. The box is silver, and massive :-) The instructions are in 2 books - totalling 312 pages! The pieces are thankfully packaged in 8 (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
