  8448 Super Car
 
I picked up an 8448 from Argos today! The box and instruction cover feature a new style Technic logo and artwork. The box is silver, and massive :-) The instructions are in 2 books - totalling 312 pages! The pieces are thankfully packaged in 8 (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

The 8448 has a slot to insert the new technic gear motor and the instructions and the end of the 2nd book show a stand which lifts the rear wheels so that the motor can drive them and you can shift through the gears, watch the wheels change speed (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
