Re: ROLL CALL - Professional model making at LLW for £69!

You can count me on too. My only concern is that if I get very busy at work, I may have to decline few weeks before. But I'll do my best to come. 1kg legos is always good, except if it is 2*4 bricks ! Gael (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  doors and windows pack

Sorry if you have all seen this before, but I noticed in the new s@h catalogue a bulk doors and windows pack - 9274, 172 pieces. I thought funny, I was looking through bulk on-line yesterday and didn't notice it. So I went back and typed the set (...)   Falkirk Wheel's Link with Lego (was Re: Newport Transporter Bridge)

(...) I was lucky enough to get a tour of the Falkirk Wheel site last year. I did take some pictures (Disclaimer : it was a very dull day & I ran out of film before I got to the tunnel under the Antoine wall and the double lock). The bottom of the (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Newport Transporter Bridge (Was Re: Professional model making at LLW for £69!)

(...) I think I'm right in saying that the new Royal Victoria Dock Footbridge built (within the last 2 or 3 years) in London Docklands serving ExCel Exhibition Centre will also work in the same way - currently, you can take the stairs or a lift up (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: ROLL CALL - Professional model making at LLW for £69!

ROLL CALL - Professional model making at LLW for £69!

OK guys, who is up for: Sunday 7 April at 9:30am?!? Sounds like the preferred option at the mo. Then we get all afternoon to wander around the park too :-) If we can come up with enough definite names, we (i.e. Linda) should be able to negotiate a (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Newport Transporter Bridge (Was Re: Professional model making at LLW for £69!)

(...) Well I guess that proves that no-one looks at anyone's profile ;-) It's been down as my 'Someday I will build' for ages. In fact I thought I'd discussed this last year when doing the New Civil Engineer thing (and James Stacey mentioned the use (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Got my S@H order today: don't buy Darth Vader!

Those that know me know that I can't resist anything new, so I ordered quite a few 2002 sets last week. Here are a few first impressions: Racers: Much better than expected, after last year's atrocities. The pull-back motor in the small £2.99 ones is (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Professional model making at LLW for £69!

Ok, I would prefer April, with August being second. I won't be able to the May date. Can I suggest that we have a roll call & try to book it on Friday or Monday? If anyone can't make it, they can always book one of the other days :-) Tony On Wed, 9 (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)
