Can someone explain why Huw's post has appeared twice? They both appear to have been posted at the same time, but the xref for the one I've replied to is later than Lawrence's reply to the original. What about suggesting something like 8448 supercar. I missed out on the Argos deal :-( Does anyone want to sell one? Is it one of the most expensive sets except for the mindstorms /cybermaster sets. Or maybe the trains are more expensive? David (...) (26 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) I tried hard to make it out of standard 8448 pieces. Obviously the extra 4 cylinders came from another model. Also the wing mirrors are lego system slopes And there might be the odd few fastenings that are different But otherwise all the beams (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

There is a slight flaw in my plan to start a minifig box: I forgot that I had a major purge last year and auctioned off most my spare figures :-( Anyway, I had a rummage through the spares box and came up with this lot, which is more minifig parts, (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
