G'Day Finally made the Bi-annual trek to St Jacobs. Of interest I noted a new (to me anyway) StarWars EP1 combo pack, a GUNGAN sub(7161) and Naboo Swamp(7121) packaged together, on sale for $43.99, which is not bad seeing as the sub was $69.99 (...) (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.on)

You found the Chrome castle sets here in Canada? When I called S@H to see if they were going to have them in Canada, I was told they weren't. Bah! Here's what there was! Castle Dragon masters Dragon Defender from 1994, about $16.99! (There was only one of these) Witch's Windship from 1997- $12.97 Samauri on a horse- tiny set from 1998. $3.49, I think. some other more common Ninja sets, 1998 (...) (...) I'm fairly sure in some of my literature on it, it was refered to as LRT, in comparison to the Subway. Remember, this was before the Harbourfront line was approved... The TTC called it the LRT when it was introduced (believe me, I know...also, if you don't trust me, look in "Not A one Horse Town"...I have that and "Passengers must not ride on fenders"). (...)
