I guess all the good deals were before Christmas

I picked up a few of the Walmart buckets, but that seemed to be it. The Sears Clearance centre in Halifax had some Galidor (not as cheap as Zellers has them) and a large number of the large Mega Bloks castle set, 9890, for $50 (less 15% on current (...) Hey Jude, Welcome to the club! I also have mine... Since a few months now: (URL) can't beleive how many comments I had so far... And of course, the SMILES! I had to overcome the "sillyness" stuff about myself at first, but I'm so happy now that I (...)   What kind of stuff does NovaLug do? When do you meet?

Hi, I'm from Antigonish county and I'm just wondering what kind of stuff you guys (at Novalug) do and whether you get together regularly. I mostly play with themes like castle and pirates, not town or trains really. I was also wondering if you've (...) (22 years ago, 21-Dec-02, to lugnet.loc.ca.ns)

  Sears Halifax sets

Greetings, I slogged through traffic (almost faster to walk) to check out what Sears has on the shelf before the 40% off sale tomorrow morning. Some of the sets had red stickers on them with reductions in price. Here is what I found (full price (...) (22 years ago, 13-Dec-02, to lugnet.loc.ca.ns.hal, lugnet.loc.ca.ns)

  sets at Zellers

Greetings, I was out shopping yesterday and noticed a bunch (maybe a dozen) of 3038 (spider slayer), an older Technic set at the Zellers in Bedford Place Mall. They are $30 ($45 for two until Friday). Also, Bedford place mall and Bayer's Lake (...) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.ca.ns, lugnet.loc.ca.ns.hal)

  Re: NovaLUG 2nd Show (Dartmouth)

Hello again, I forgot to mention that I motorized all the switches for the train yard. Nothing fancy, like no mindstorms involved, but I built 5 different version to test and they worked well for the display, because they would have been hard to (...)   Re: 1st NovaLUG Meeting at Truro (NS) Train Show

Seriously, I could go for a road trip. If anyone in rtlToronto wants to talk about this, I'm game. It's only 1600 km :) Take turns driving, that's 16 hours. We leave Friday, there Saturday, and drive home Sunday. Excellent. If rtl wants to think (...)
