Re: announcing the "My Own Creation" series

(...) Indeed, we all feel the same way! Perhaps one day, if revenue increases, LS@H will return to our fair country. --==Richard==-- (23 years ago, 15-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: announcing the "My Own Creation" series

(...) Sorry, I should have been more clear. I was really only referring to the price of the product itself (excluding shipping/taxes/duty etc.). Plus, I did the calculation in my head, so it's probably not that accurate. :) Really too bad that this (...) (23 years ago, 15-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: announcing the "My Own Creation" series

(...) I tried it with the shipping and taxes before converting it, and it's about $80 total. But still great for over 600 pieces, this set is larger (piece count) than the Night Lord's Castle that I bought for about $85 last year. The Blacksmith (...)   Re: Attention holiday shoppers - Zellers BOGOHP (Dec 15-21)

From what I've read, the Buy-One-Get-One sale applies to ‘ALL’ Lego!!! So stock-up on bricks for X-mas…even if it’s just for you. ;) (The Zellers Sale begins Saturday, December 15th & ends Friday, December 21st.) --==Richard==-- (...)   Attention holiday shoppers - Zellers BOGOHP (Dec 15-21)

Just saw some flyers on the lunch room table and noted another Zellers BOGOHP and the sale starts tomorrow. It will be really nice if some new sets are actually on the shelves this week. Andrew (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: 2002 sets found in TRU Merivale

Hi, I can confirm that TRU in St. Laurent also has the new sets. I picked up Harry Potter Flying Lesson, 2 figs and stuff for under $5. Not too bad. I think I may be getting a few ewok sets though ... they look kind of cool. Hadn't seen anything at (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

(...) There's at least some in lugnet.org.nalug. Occasionally. :-) (...) I can probably get shot by the other nalug-ers (see (URL) our little page), but you might also consider the Cyber K'nex stuff.   Re: Well, I can ask him, but I don't think he'll be very keen!

(...) Heh. Yeah, well us locals tend to do our yakking on the NALUG mailing list. As Steve (Chapple) reminds us, we should do more talking on Lugnet, just so folks know we exist. :) (...) That's easy to fix. :) (...) You should talk to John Koob or (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.ab.edm)

Well, I can ask him, but I don't think he'll be very keen!

I see this is a pretty high traffic group :-) I figured I should post something, just so Edmonton gets some representation during the year 2001 :-) I don't know if I count though, seeing as I don't actually own any Lego yet. The Mindstorms/RCX stuff (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.ab.edm)

  Re: 6150 Crystal Detector

(...) According to the Lugnet guide, this is a $20 US set- that's a ridiculous $30 CDN at full price. I think it's already is on clearance, unless this turns out to be a 2002 Classic rerelease. (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.market.shopping)

Walmart rollbacks some LEGO- got your Mania Magazine coupons? :)

Looking through the flyers and.... LEGO rollbacks! Now $54.86 are the <set:7316 Excavation Searcher>, the <set:8549 Tarakava>, and the <set:3409 Championship Challenge>. But LEGO Mania magazine recently gave club members coupons for $15 off the (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: 6150 Crystal Detector

Re: LEGO finds at the Pickering mall

(...) I'm pretty sure the 8720 was never re-released. They occasionally crop up here in Australia too - I picked up a damaged one (already opened) for AU$15 at Big W once. And it was only missing the crown wheel & rubber bands!! ROSCO (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on)

  6150 Crystal Detector

Hi all, I just found a bunch of 6150 Crystal Detector sets for $15 CDN! I found them at Zellers at Lansdowne Mall (Richmond, BC in Canada) and they had around 20 copies. Although the set doesn't really interest me, it was a pleasant sight to see (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van, lugnet.market.shopping)
