All true enough. I'm only a CA (and that's just between you and I,
alright?), but the whole GST thing does not look like a happy day. our
prices are a dan sight more than just 22% higher than the US. We can
habitually score 20% off if you're careful and watch the likes of Big W,
Kmart and Target. Even then I can buy from the US and save another 10-15%
even allowing for freight.

Wow. I just read a post on lugnet.general which talked about a whole other
experience with the service people. You want to get your man's name, and
find out where he lives ;-)

I'm a big fan of eBay (done properly). If you would like some hints LMK.
Beyond that, I have stumbled upon a couple of people who can get me some of
the current sets at US discount prices. Again, if you're interested, LMK
and I'll go fossicking back through my email to find them. I seem to
remember buying the Sphinx's Surprise (RRP AU$110.00, best discount
AU$88.12) for a poofteenth under US$40 inc freight.

I'm not entirely convinced that these representatives actually exist. Like
Drop Bears, everyone says they're there, but no one ever sees one ;-)

| Once i find out how to cross post I think we should be filling up the troughs of Loc.au just as you suggested to me.. So apologies for that. Santosh (25 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

| (...) I've seen them, I've seen them! Lego reps that is, not drop bears. But I didn't speak to them. (There were two together, some sort of Dropbear training?)!:) James. Bunyip anyone? Hmm... do 'mericans understand what a bunyip is? (25 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)
