  Introducing myself - and BrickNet

Hello everyone Congratulations Pete on unearthing the BrickNet web site - you beat me to the punch! I e-mailed Richie earlier this week about introducing myself and mentioning BrickNet on the loc.au group, but have not heard back from him yet. (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Introducing myself - and BrickNet

Dont suppose you can source any starwars rebel blockade runners at better prices than lego shop @ home ? (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Introducing myself - and BrickNet

Hi Aaron Unfortunately I can't get you a brand new Rebel Blockade Runner any cheaper than S@H. There is one on eBay available to Australia (from USA), new but dented. Maybe Michael from ozBricks (ozbricks.com) can get his hands on one? Otherwise I'd (...) (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Introducing myself - and BrickNet

(...) Being a non-retail set, the large set box is crammed with parts, with many multiples of useful pieces for spacely themes. It would be nice if they were cheaper, but they will probably more than maintain their value in the long run (if that's (...) (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Introducing myself - and BrickNet

(...) Hi John! On behalf of the Aussie AFOLs, welcome to Lugnet! I was actaully down at the market this morning, but I guess it's not one of your days. I'd certainly be interested in your planned schedule there! Anyway, you're welcome to get (...) (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Introducing myself - and BrickNet

(...) Indeed not, out been out of action due to illness for most of this week (and hoping to be okay for the s'fest in Mittagong tomorrow). Never fear, though, www.bricknet.com.au now has a link from the /loc/au page. (Maybe a reciprocal link to (...) (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Introducing myself - and BrickNet

Being a avid reader of www.fbtb.net Ive been following the fact that the RBR has been on retail sale in the US and even better still Target in the US had reduced them to $100 US and in some stores $50 US unbelivable pricing. Fingers crossed some (...) (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Introducing myself - and BrickNet

Hi Ross Thanks for your kind welcome. I'm planning to next be at the South Melbourne Market this Friday 16th with a load of Star Wars, Soccer, Bionicle, Harry Potter, Bob The Builder etc. Likely to be on the aisle of temporary stalls near the (...) (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: (was: Intro...BrickNet) RBRs ?

(...) (Insert suitably astonished exclamation)...I must get out more :^) It's a while since i've visited fbtb, os sales I usually glaze over too, but they are often good pointers to possible reductions here. (...) At those prices, more than a (...) (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Introducing myself - and BrickNet

(...) Just on that: does anyone know if Lego ever plan on bringing the RBR into the shops? Allister (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Introducing myself - and BrickNet

(...) Well, if you believe what the Lego Direct staff say, it's a question of whether shops want to stock it rather than whether Lego want to do it. There are some examples of sets previously only available through S@H being sold through some (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Introducing myself - and BrickNet

(...) I'd better start saving my pennies then. How much longer is it likely to be available do you think? (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)
