The meeting room at the Mittagong RSL was very good: large, well
lit, plenty of tables and ample refreshment close to hand (unless you asked
for the kid's meal cheeseburger).

Maybe one needs to produce a One-Nation membership card to get upsized.
Though I was offered a jelly/juice option that I politely declined.

MOC highlights included the HES Indescribable just out of Port Block Yards,
Fort Kurst of Andrastavia, Thunderbird 1 by James and ROSCO's mammoth crane.
Several of us contributed troops to Kev's Andrastavian battlefield -- can't
wait for the next chapter! Ben brought his staggering collection of
catalogues, promotional leaflets and the like, and the most heinous assembly
of Johnny Thunder figs I've ever seen. They dominated the Welshishish
battlefield, although I suspect that one less tactical nuke and a bit more
Bruce Willis could have turned the tide.

The highlight for me was Rosco's crane. If it was mounted outside we could
have lifted the roof of the RSL to inspect the interior detail.
Luckily Richard was able to take the Indescribable out a side door before it
was confiscated by the RSL to be permanently displayed in a glass case in the
foyer. Modular is definitely the way to go when it comes to large castles.
Kev's magnificent Fort was great to see up close.

DaveL brought along some clones from the Peoples' Republic that look remarkably
similar to some specialised L pieces, even if crudely manufactured.

Dave's monkeys were in the thick of the battle, maybe some Ebola in the luggage
would have carried the day, but they were worn down in the end.
The Bricktorian space shuttle proved a rather nasty surprise for the home team
on the battlefield. Let's see more Technic there soon.

Hopefully the MUGs are safely home, without TOO many shop stops.
