Since there hasn’t been many entries so far, would you consider an

I second the motion. I had an idea about ten days ago and I’ve been rushing
to complete it - another week would be hoopy.

Well I would agree to an extra week, but no more than that.

I was thinking more like another month, especially considering it seems there
are currently more prizes than there are entries, but I could live with a week.
