G’Day all,
The turn out for TGBSLILAC is, lets face it, not that great in turns of numbers.
In fact, I think it would be fair to say that it has failed in the ‘breathe some
life’ goal. Which is a pity, but such is life. There are good prizes, and good
entries too, but just not that many of them.
I blame the introduction of the new greys for the low turn out for TGBSLILAC.
;-)
But on to the matter of an extension: Would an extension help with the
‘breathing life’ goal? If it would, then I’d say absolutely, extend away, but if
it’s just going to be an asthmatic wheeze that’s generated, then I think we’d be
better off staying with the announced date (which, you may remember included ‘or
thereabouts’ in the wording).
And what of those who’ve entered so far? They’re the life-breathers so far
(competition wise), so I think their opinions count most.
Maybe if those wanting extensions offered extra prizes? (The ‘Best Late Entry’
prize perhaps? Or better still the ‘Best On Time Entry’).

be announcing it in due course, but is having some email issues at the moment.

| Well, I've got a MOC that I'm just finishing off, I hope to have it photographed to some degree by the weekend, it all depends. I think I'll be able to submit before the end of May, but that said, I'm not opposed to an extension. just my bit. Leg (...) (20 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

| Sounds good to me, it sounds as if there's a couple of models already in the pipeline so it'd be worth it. I have another entry which will be appearing in the next few days, not Australian though (I just haven't been feeling very australian of (...) (20 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)
